Bellwork: If pressure is applied to the surface of a liquid in a container, the liquid is not squashed. It transmits the pressure that the pressure pushes on all parts of the container with equal strength. In hydraulic equipment a liquid is used to transmit pressure from one place to another. The pressure is applied in one place and released in another. If the area where the pressure is applied is smaller than the area where the pressure is released, the strength of the force is increased. Calculate the pressure being used to raise the load. Agenda:
